Charities from all over Ireland use the event as a major fundraising opportunity each year. If you would like to run the race to raise funds for a particular charity please contact the charity of your choice regarding sponsorship cards, t-shirts etc. All profits from the event go directly to the Athletics Association of Ireland (Cork) who use the proceeds to develop athletics in the Cork area. (The AAI is an entirely voluntary organisation)
